2Scope & legal framework

We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies — for example to visitors in the EU — we also act in accordance with it.

3What data we collect

• Order data — name, delivery address, email address and order details you provide when buying.
• Payment data — handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and limited transaction details, but not your full card number.
• Communications — the content of messages you send us (e.g. by email or the contact form).
• Technical data — when you visit the site, our hosting provider may process server log data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of access, for security and operation. This is handled by our hosting provider, Cloudflare.

4Purposes

We use this data to process and deliver your order, to provide customer support, to comply with legal obligations (such as accounting and tax retention), and to keep the website secure and functioning.

5Cookies & analytics

Checkout is hosted separately by Stripe, which may set its own cookies necessary for payment and fraud prevention. Please refer to Stripe's privacy information for details.

6Disclosure to third parties

We share personal data only as needed to run the shop, with providers acting on our behalf:

• Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Shipping provider — Swiss Post, to deliver your order.
• Hosting provider — Cloudflare, which operates the servers for this website.

We do not sell your personal data.

7International transfers

Some providers (for example Stripe) may process data outside Switzerland, including in countries that may not offer an equivalent level of data protection. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

8Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law — in particular the statutory retention period for business and accounting records under Swiss law (generally ten years for invoices).

9Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Payments are handled over encrypted connections by Stripe.

10Your rights

Subject to the conditions of the FADP, you have the right to information about the data we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. Where the GDPR applies, you may also have rights to restriction, objection and data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@haecker-tech.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
